The monkeys come from
The darkest places of night
And dance upon me.

A limerick is a short, humurous poem.

These are the rules M!

The first, second and fifth lines each have eight syllables and rhyme with each other. w

Line three and two have six syllables and rhyme only with themselves.

Need an example?

There was a young boy from Sydney
Who stopped where it was quite windy
He was wearing no jocks
But only some white socks
That he purchased when in Kindy

Yes, I know it is a poor effort, but you get the gist of it, yes?

Ok, mine sucks. It should keep to this format:

First two lines, are an introduction to the charactor.
Line three and four show a dilemna.
Line five shows a resolution.

Meh.
