Mint is a hardy beast! So is oregano, my dried-up twigs left over winter from my oregano pot is a lush little bush right now. Yay for your mint! It might just make poo smell less pooey.

ya, I heard oregano was biennial, but mine has been growing for 3 years now. And still looking good! Rosemary and thyme are great because they are evergreens. My chives started to die out, but then they came back a little this year again, and chives are also biennial. I wish basil lasted all year round. Maybe if I out it in a window in the house...

I can't get basil to survive here, never gets hot enough and is always damp. I should try indoors myself! Glad your mint made it!!
