I think that maybe after Shogun dies (in 4 or 5 years), I'll adopt a senior dog. Then maybe Yumiko and the other dog can live together for another 5 years and they'll die around the same time. Then, I'll adopt dogs that need to be adopted together.

That's my 12 year plan. Cuz Shogun and Yumiko still have a lot of time left on this Earth.

AW... I love you April. I don't even want to think about your dogs passing out.

But... I know how it goes, making plans. Ugh. It sucks but with a love for dogs/cats/whatever you are always wanting (to save) more, lol! We have plans for our future cats and dogs (we can't get any more cats until Smokie dies and probably even dogs because she is so sensitive and easily terrified... Sad but I can't put her through any more stress. She is almost 9).

But.. Shogun and Yumiko aren't going anywhere for a long time, and I still need to give them snuggles.

Well, Shogun may only live another 2-4 years. He's slowed down a LOT on the past couple years.

I know, and it's good to be realistic about it for the most part, makes it easier - ok no it doesn't. <3
