I'm really peeved with Apple right now. The .mac, mobile.me whatever service is still down after more than a day. My iPhone is unable to do anything but dial 911 because I updated it to the 2.0 firmware and it can't connect to the activation servers. This has to be one of the worst roll outs in history. I wonder how many people Jobs has fired in the past 24 hours.

I read this morning that if you dock your iPhone to iTunes and hold down the option key while telling it to check for updates, it will install and activate the 2.0 upgrade.

And MobileMe is working from my MacBook now, but I can't log into it from the web site.

And yeah, worst Apple product rollout ever. Heads will roll.

My phone finally activated. Of course, I normally sync it to my iMac and all I have at work with me is the macbook, so I have no contacts or anything in the phone right now. Hopefully that will all sync up when I get it home. At least it's a phone again. :) Despite this I am still feeling a strong urge to upgrade to the 3G version. Must resist ... Yeah, Apple does have some serious orbital mind control lasers. The current iPhone acquisition plan is to hit U-Village tomorrow morning when the Apple Store opens.
