"I have no tolerance for heat -- I'm from the South"

We were hanging out having dinner last night with spoomeister and pinky_ki. Pinky and I started talking about how we can't sleep if it's hot out, and we were noting that neither of us has any tolerance for heat. Yeah- I kind of miss having A/C be a normal thing (from the Midwest, we get that happening in the summer, too).

LA is the same way. It's hot, but the entire place is ACed. I'm actually less hot here than in Seattle.

What is this AC of which you speak?

I come from the land of 150% humidity and 90 degree weather in the summer, and no AC. We didn't even had AC in the car until I was 14. You had to go to either a movie theater or a hospital to actually experience AC.

Hot is bad. The downstairs den of my place is the only reason I am not a snarling mess this week.
