if you hated a group, would you spend time learning about them?
would you read 'sasaeng fan' accounts about them?
would you watch their videos and study them and listen to their music just to hate them?
even i, as a fan, don't read sasaeng fan accounts, nor do i rely on sasaeng material (such as those terrible paparazzi photos that we get from when they stand around the entrance to SM), because i feel like they are an extreme embarrassment to the entire fandom.
so why are you, of all people, saying that you read sasaeng fan accounts and believe them simply because sasaengs are known for stalking the members and knowing everything about them?
the reason i'm so pissed off is because of this thread i read in a recent exo post on omonatheydidnt, which sparked a lot of negative feelings in me, especially since it was discussing kris's disappearance (and if you follow me on twitter you would know that i was feeling extremely anxious at that time, with kris's departure leaving me even more distressed than i already was).
no, i am not going to link back to it, and that is for two reasons; one, i... can't... find the post anymore.... and two i honestly never want to see that thread again bc if i do the urge to punch the op in the face may surpass my control and i just might make a fool out of myself when trying to prove op wrong. but the fact that this person who declared herself that she/he disliked all of exo "except for xiumin" and was going on and on about kris like she/he owned the fucking place and knew everything about him and his decisions at the time made me so incredibly angry.

this person claimed that kris was pulling a hangeng, that he was traveling around china because he wanted to leave the group and become an actor instead and was looking for an agency to back him up in this decision. he/she said that kris didn't get along well with any of the members and that instead, a majority of the korean members bullied him.

do you know anything about exo? no, scratch that, do you know anything about korean culture in general?
kris entered the agency long before a majority of the members. he was brought into sm in late 2007. this was before chanyeol joined, before yixing and luhan joined, before chen and baekhyun and xiumin and d.o and i could go on, but i'm sure you get the idea. if you know anything about koreans and their behavior, you would know that koreans are extremely respectful and they are incredibly careful when it comes to status and the treatment of their elders/seniors. because kris entered the industry long before them, do you think that the members would have the guts to bully him even though he is chinese?
i didn't think so.
because nothing changes the fact that in every way possible, kris is their senior. in terms of age, authority (his position as leader, or during the pre debut era, a prospected leader), and experience, kris is their sunbae, and nothing will change the fact that they would have, and will, treat him with respect. this is not because i'm making up excuses for them as a cover up.
this is because of how they were raised.
basically what i'm trying to say is that people should think before they speak, especially if they are fully aware that they are unsure of their responses and that their sources are unreliable. there will always be people in this world who know more than you about a certain subject-- think before you make yourself look like a dumbass.
