XDDD My friend Jess has that exact same problem, only it's her mother she can't show the fics to, and her older sister's the one who mentions the stories to people.

I guess if I were to tell you that I know grandmas who write slashfic, that I think an argument could be made for the "grandmas invented slashfic" theory, that would squick you even more, hm? ;-)

I'm a big fan of Sindahise who writes some of the most amazing fic I have ever read. When she first realised how young I was (18) her comment was "*headdesk* Must stop talking about slash with my grandchildren"
