Zoe stood off to one side watching Mikuru blast the bubbles.

"Does everyone here have superpowers but me?"

Startled, Mikuru jumped as she looked Zoe's way; though her laser went awry she managed not to hit Zoe with it.

She lowered her hand, placing them both just on her apron. If her hands weren't near her eyes she couldn't use Mikuru Beam and hit this girl by accident.

"I don't think so," she admitted. "A couple of my friends, Kyon-chan and Suzumiya-chan don't have any powers that I've seen."

She smiled, fiddling with one pigtail.

"Besides, I don't have mine all the time."

Zoe gulped as the green lazer went wide and made a note to never ever distract her again.

"R-right." Zoe said regaining her nerve. "Ah sorry for distracting you."

Wait, did she just say...

"You don't?"

Mikuru shook her head. This girl seemed pretty trustworthy; she'd even apologized for distracting her.

"Just when I've got this on."

At 'this', she gestured from head to toe, indicating everything from her hairties to her shoes.

"I don't really know why," she admitted.
