'You know, I'm beginning to wonder how often I'm going to have to do this? The explaining to other Brigade members? The need to grab Koizumi so we at least know one of us--likely him--will be familiar to who we're explaining it to?
The disappointment it isn't someone from home. Has it really been almost a year? I've been with these guys longer than my own Brigade! How weird is that?'
Having managed to find Koizumi and give him a brief rundown of the situation, Kyonko had taken him to the Hub where Nagato had said she'd been waiting, hands in the pockets of her work pants as she walked. When had she gotten comfortable around them, anyway? She wasn't even weirded out by how Asahina made her react or how much Koizumi's smile was both like and unlike Itsuko's. It was weird, but....
'Maybe I really am part of this Brigade now, too?'
