Juudai's head turned almost automatically when he heard a girl's voice shouting out to no one in particular. He stopped in the middle of the bridge to the cafeteria, turning to the direction of the sound, and stared at the voice's owner incredulously for a few moments.

"...Uh," he started, fumbling for words at first, "you can't walk?" His eyes dropped to her feet, and then rose back to her face again. She didn't look handicapped, at least. The line wasn't really intended to be snarky, more honestly inquisitive, but Juudai had never been known for having the best choice of words at any given time.

Yuuko climbed up the ladder to the bridge system and shrugged. "Well, you never know where you'll end up unless you get a local to show you around. I know I've gotten lost a few times already." That comment about not being able to walk, though, made her mind drift back to Aya again. She'd worry about that once she knew what exactly was going on.

"I guess that makes sense..." Juudai conceded with a bit of an uncertain glance. "Though, we don't have a 'leader', really, so I guess I'll have to help you out, heh. So... you're in this place because you were dragged here by some rip in the fabric of universes or something like that, not because you wanted to be here, obviously. And there's no apparent way out, either. From what we know of it, this place is some kind of abandoned experiment that the people who ran the project are just now finding out that it's taking people from their worlds and trapping them here."

Yuuko had seen a lot of unbelievable things in her short life. To her credit, she usually ended up believing him, especially after seeing some incontrovertible proof. This, right here all around her, was proof. Still, she couldn't help but gape for a second.

"...Oh, it would just figure."
