I love marking now!

     Until Monday's class, I thought that marking things in your books as you read them was nothing but a waste of time and an easy way to just ruin your book. But, I have to say, when I went home and picked up my research book (Harry Potter:  The Sorcerer's Stone), I was surprised when Highlighting and underlining actually came in handy. Sounds like marking a book for learning is the way to go. I'll have to try that out. I have to say that I have been reading Harry Potter: The Sorcerer's Stone (with pen, pencil and highlighter within easy reach) and I have had a hard time finding anything to mark, underline or highlight. I guess that I need to look harder or I'm not sure what to mark. I didn't occur to me to make note of the things that you did. :)Thanks for the post!

I still hate writing in my books! I write in a notebook and put the page numbers beside what I write then I also stick tabs on the page so it's easier to find. But that's the only reason I use sticky notes. If you just stick it on the page and don't write anything about it, you'll forget why you put it there. Or I at least forget!

I still find it very hard to write in my books I feel like im ruining the book with my markings.
