So yeah, I didn't vote. I falsely assumed that was my choice to make (and based on the shit choices for candidates), but everyone at work took the opportunity to ride my ass about it all day long. I was seriously considering heading to Chicago as well, before we were blessed with a Detroit date. There's been once or twice where I was right on the verge of driving out there to see a show, but decided against it because I didn't want to risk that 4-5 drive back afterward (although I've mulled over the idea of spending the night in my car at a rest stop on the way back, assuming the weather permits). I don't know, I've driven to downtown Chicago once, and based on my experience there, I'm in no hurry to try it again.
