are those boys or girls shorts??? cuz they look girly. i can see girls wearing bballshorts-made-for-girls. but not bball-shorts-made-for-boys.

haha okay yeah, those don't count then. i'm talking about real basketball shorts. not...little boys or non-athletic brand bball shorts. those AF ones look so...decorative.

Are you kidding me???? Have you ever worn baller shorts???? How can you possibly think they're not comfortable???? They're soft so it feels good when it touches you, and they're big enough that it doesn't touch you that much, thus giving you the sensation you're not wearing anything at all. And nobody can deny the pleasure of being naked. Unless you're going to be lounging on scratchy or berber carpet. Or sitting in a vinyl chair. But in all other instances, the feeling of freedom is exhilarating. Why do girls always love to wear their boyfriend's jeans? Because they're so loose and comfortable. Why do girls like to wear their boyfriend's shirts? Because they're so big and loose and thus, comfortable ( ... )

Ok I've NEVER seen girls in Austin wearing baller shorts unless they were on a b-ball team. In that case, they would HAVE to wear baller shorts. And I don't think all girls can pull of the baller shorts look. I've seen a couple of girls wearing them before (not in Austin), and they looked awkward wearing them. I think girls look cooler in soccer shorts than baller shorts. Baller shorts are just too...long and baggy.

You can still look girly wearing dress pants, ya know. You don't always have to wear a dress to pull off the girly look.

I totally agree. I think just because you wear baller shorts doesn't necessarily mean you are trying to impress anybody. A lot of girls I know wear those shorts because they like playing basketball, and it's just more reasonable to be wearing those shorts, than short shorts. Also, some girls may wear those shorts because they are a natural answer if they don't want to wear short cotton shorts. Also it IS pretty undeniable that they are comfortable. It is true it's more of a houston thing, but it doesn't necessarily mean the huston girls want to impress more than the dallas, or austin girls. It's not wrong if you see some girls wearing it, and say "hey they look comfortable my friend likes them.. i'm going to wear some".
