So, what's the deal with the tone of the Doctor Who posts? Did the Doctor regenerate or something? Will those of us who can't fucking stand Tennant in the role finally be able to watch again? (No, I'm actually not trying to bring down the spirits of anyone who is a fan, but some of us...aren't.)

Not yet, but apparently it's forthcoming?

I know who it supposedly is.

LOL He's actually growing on me now that Rose has FINALLY gone. I think that must have been my problem with Tennant's Dr - the fact that Rose has hung over him ALL the bloody time.

I never thought I'd say this but I enjoyed him in the Xmas special.

But fear not - Tennant will be in all the specials next year...and then that's it. No more DT

The usual bullshit Russell cop-out. David Morrissey (who is adorable and would make a fine Eccles-esque doctor) has been accidentally brainwashed by Cybermen with the Doctor's memories. There is a hilarious joke about a sonic screwdriver and the usual NO POWER FOR YOU, MISSY! joy from Rusty, but the design looks lovely and it's better than the Kylie one.

Ooh, and they have teeny flashback photos of all the previous doctors and I swear he lingered on Five :D

Oh and I forgot the crowd giving three cheers for Wonderful Ten. Bah.

Tennant's still around. He'll be gone in 2010. In the meantime, the sexism and god-worship of the Doctor is at war with David Morrissey and a steampunk Cyberman as to the final verdict of whether this episode was bad or good. The flashback to all the past Doctors was nice, too.

There will only be 5 more Tennant eps, then he's gone. There are only 5 eps this year anyway.

There may not even be 5 - Tennant landed himself in the hospital with a bad back and has to have surgery (or already had it)
