I think everyone would like to be that selfless, but people are very selfish creatures. I think it takes a strong person to really overcome selfishness the way Nelson Mandela and so many people like him have. I aspire to one day be that selfless, I might not get there, but hopefully I will get somewhere between here and there. That guy that you met through your work is awesome.

Why is it so important to you to be selfless? I think you don't realize how selfless you already are because you keep thinking about being MORE selfless! Selflessness is something that just happens, not something that you constantly have to think "Am I being selfless enough today?" You are already doing more than 80% of the people in the world!

What Katie says is true. He lived/lives in a very different environment than you and I do. It calls for a different kind of selflessness than what we would have to contribute to the United States. So being undergrad & graduate bound, although is time consuming and frustrating to me, not only pays off in the end but I think is almost a necessity to cause a positive contribution and impact our own environment on large scale and in a long-term manner. Also he's had 90 years to perfect what he has to contribute.

On a different and lighter note - YOUR SISTER IS HOT! Just looked at her pics on Facebook, OMGGGGGGG.
