yes!! the holidays are finally over....under other circumstances i would feel rather differently, i suppose but in my trade, this is a rather brutal time of year.  numbers of artists arrive for the one month, crowding out those who are around all year as spaces are limited.  the plaza where we work has had nearly no sunlight at all for the last ( Read more... )

the plaza where we work has had nearly no sunlight at all for the last month or so and the brick and granite surfaces radiate cold, intensified by the seasonal ice skating rink that resides there each holiday season. - sounds like that would be just the time I'd want to visit said plaza then! :-)

finally saw ootp yesterday after work. chrys said at the end that he did not want to see the next two, they weren't fun anymore. no they aren't. - I didnt think much of that movie either. Have only seen it once actually, at the cinema when it came out. It will rank alongside Philosophers Stone as ones I am not bothered about watching. I am very much looking forward to HBP and really hope that doesnt let Me down!

I wish you a happy and prosperous new year!

thank you. i wish the same for you and perseus.

actually, you might enjoy summer here, it's often foggy and cool. weather never gets too extreme, generally though this winter's been rather cold.

yes, hbp should be quite interesting.

yes, i think we all added the missing pieces to the movie as we watched it.

i positively hated hbp at first because of the darkness but more so because of dumbledore's death. i just don't see the point of all the deaths, sirius, d, etc.

it's as though we were given a world to play around in and all of a sudden...

yes, they were both fun. i've the sequel to greywalker which i'll read soon. i'll let you know if any of the other books i found are any good.

yes, pointless is the key word here. hedwig???? it's as though rowling were a child who got tired of her action figures and decides to smash them up. it does, however, pose an interesting concept...one could start a series of the hogwarts afterlife, you've got a full array of great characters to work with...
