Don't mind me. Just thought the old "15 facts about Tezuka on SHRP" was outdated and I hated them. XDDDD Soooo, rewriting them.
1. Let's get something straight. He has minimal expression, but that doesn't mean he's emotionless. He's anything but. You'd be surprised by what you might find underneath all that indifferent exterior. A very passionate person in whatever it is he does. He rarely puts his emotions out for public display because he considers himself a captain first. And leaders don't just go around waving their emotions about. That's unprofessional, and Tezuka's very professional.
2. He was not good at Quidditch when he first started (his father taught him). The broom refused to listen to him, and hit him square on the nose and broke it. Little Tezuka got pissed off and practiced his little butt off.
3. Tezuka doesn't like cats. Nor dogs, for that matter. He prefers the koi fish in his own pond back at home.
4. Actions speak louder than words, and that's something Tezuka lives by. Don't say something with 7 words when 4 will do. Or something like that.
5. Considers Oishi to be his best friend, and Inui to be his first friend. It isn't because Tezuka doesn't like to socialize, it's just he prefers a more personal and intimate experience. He takes friendship and all relationships seriously, and he's very specific on who he calls a friend, etc. So no, that random guy at lunch is not a friend. Sorry.
His teammates are an exception, and he goes (more or less) out of his way to show, in his very own Tezuka-like way, that he cares. Tezuka's intersted in Ryoma, again, more or less, because he sees himself a bit in the younger boy. Oshitari actually amuses him.
6. Tezuka DOES have an owl. It was a present from his Grandfather.
7. He's closest to his mother, then his grandfather. His father and Tezuka's relationship's just fine, thank you very much, but they haven't been spending too much time together every since Tezu started attending Hogwarts, is all.
8. When they did the Boggart exercise in Lupin's Defense against the Dark arts class (like, wayyy back when), the Boggart turned into Tezuka himself. He did not expect this, btw, but in the end, it didn't surprise him.
9. Some of the stuff you'll find in his toiletry kit: almond-scented shampoo/conditioner, mint toothpaste, cleanser thingy for the face, deoderant, shower gel. Hey, a boy needs to be clean and presentable. Some of the stuff you can find his bookbag: pens, a notebook/parchment, an amulet thingy (not because he's superstitious. He's just had it around since forever, and keeps it for sentimental reasons).
10. What happened in Germany, stays in Germany. Take that however you want. Because Tezuka could care less. And no, he didn't do anything illegal.
11. Singing (and he has a nice voice) and practicing his ass off (whether it be Quidditch or muggle tennis) help to alleviate the stress.
12. Tezuka has never: (a)told a lie, and (b)cried. Well, he did once when he was a kid, but it was just chibi Tezuka sniffling at falling off his broom and breaking his leg in three different places. He wanted to cry when doctors told him there was a chance his shoulder's never going to be healed, but thought better of it. Might as well do something about it than sitting around and moping. BTW, the shoulder's now just fine.
13. NO, I HAVE NO IDEA IF HE'S GAY, BI, ASEXUAL, STRAIGHT OR WHATEVER. A SCARY-ASS "I'M THE CAPTAIN, AND YOU DO NOT SCREW WITH THE CAPTAIN, UNDERSTOOD?" GLARE IS WHAT YOU'LL GET IF YOU ASK TEZUKA.
14. Tezuka's semi-half-blood (father side = wizards, mother's side = muggles, but she's the lone wizard. So wait, does that make him a pureblood? AHH who cares XD). That's how he knows tennis and a lot about the muggle world, hello. Oh, and the relatives from his mother's side all thinks Tezuka's father's (and Tezu papa's family, for that matter) crazy. All because he accidentally blurted out in Japanese at a family dinner that "Kunimitsu is a witch! Or you know, those male witches!"
15. "Kunimitsu," btw, means "national glory," or "light of a nation."
