Believe it or not, I already had this site bookmarked. I used to be fascinated with an encyclopedia volume that had clear vinyl anatomical overlays.
I'll have to check out the bookplates later.

I wondered about the bulb-shaped pieces over the eyes. The treatment for folks unlucky enough to catch pink eye?

Strabismus, I think. Some of the eye disease images were gruesome.

Chameleon man is strangely fascinating. I keep imagining his tongue flicking in and out of his pursed mouth. Ack.
That plate showing amputation gave me the cauld grue.

I wish the images were of better quality. If you're going to upload stuff, why not go the whole hog so I can see all the gruesome details?
