Or, Jamie Bamber is adorable, Rick Worthy is really awesome, and Callum Keith Rennie is hilarious.
I was late there it started at 9 (oops) But the staff were lovely and let me in to see the rest of Jamie's talk, and arranged a photo with him later just before the group pics. Jamie was only there for a few hours, he said he'd come as a favour to them cos they thought they'd be stuck. And he had a family thing in the afternoon.
He is so funny, so smart, so wonderful. There are no words.
Notable cute things:
His favourite episode is the last one (which was meant to be one, then became two, now it's three, and he's heard something about it being four...) Aired, his favourite is 33.
EJO babysat his kids while he was at Comic Con. (AWWWW!)
He loves the word frak, and that its interchangeable with fuck, that it is the same word in every grammatical sense. And said that he found it interesting that it means that its the sound of the word fuck that offends us. (Except he didn't say fuck, he spelled it, or referred to it obliquely. I found it cute.) (Okay, I found EVERYTHING he did cute...)
He gave some of the actors callsigns.
Aaron Douglas would be the Grinch, cos he steals everything and is a 'grumpy pain in the arse' on set, apparently. (Luciano Carro confirmed this later. :D)
EJO would be Uncle.
Katee would be 'Meme" because "its all me me me me me." He said "She's adorable, but ... ah. It isn't half about her. I think her and Mark Sheppard were separated at birth."
Tahmoh: 'The Pout.' And he DID IT but I fail with cameras, so I don't have it. Grr.
He was asked about Grace, but he said she was so ... nice, and then looked like he'd thought of something but didn't want to say. :D
And that was the end of that.
So then there was the autographs, and it was very cool. He said 'Hello Niam' and I said, no it's Neeve, and he picked up the little post it and looked at it (crinkly brow thing omg CUTE). He asked was that how you pronounce it, and I said yeah it's Irish and weird. He said 'Huh. And there's me pretending to be Irish." (IDK... I think his Mum's Irish? I DO know he's gorgeous. Have I mentioned that?)
And I told him the shippers all say hi and he was all smiley and LOVELY. And I have a hawt Lee pic all signed and cute.
And then I hung around for a while, met some people *waves to chrismk and other new friends* Then I got a pic taken with him! They squeezed me in even though I was late. The staff were AWESOME and friendly and generally fantastic. And it was small and cozy and brilliant. I'll so be going back for the whole weekend next time. And the Starfury one in December.
Anyway, here is me and Jamie!
Pic of a pic, so blurry, but he is SO HOT OMG. Ded. And he has his arm around me and I'm touching his waist and he's so lovely. And he said 'nice to meet you again Neeve-that-is-spelt-Niam." So I'm thinking of changing my name to that, cos its so cool. :D And he said sorry about it and I said it's a whole other language, its fine. And he said he knows now.
So. Frakking. Cute. And gorgeous. Did I mention that? And arms of GUH underneath long sleeves but around my shoulder OMG. Sigh. So cute. He left soon after that, his wife apparently drove up to the door with a car full of kids. Aww.
And then the rest of the day was fun. Rick Worthy who plays Simon is great. It was his first ever con and he was all excited.
Luciano Carro, who played Kat was also great, you get that she really really loved playing Kat. She seemed upset talking about her death. It was sweet. And she also said Kara was the better pilot, cos she taught Kat everything she knows. Also she has more guts than Kat. She started to say that Kara sometimes got sloppy cos of the drinking but then remembered the sims so stopped talking. Hee.
Then they did BSG 'Who's Line is it Anyway' where they gave Rick, Luciano and Callum scripts from the show to act out as various characters. OMFG that was hilarious. So brilliantly funny. (Jamie would have PWNED at it. But he was so good to come for the short time he was there. Bless him) I met Rick outside just after it and told him it was amazing and funny, and he was all smiley and said he'd never done anything like that, but wasn't it awesome? He really got into it. :D
And Callum talked then, he was very funny and very very good-looking. Nice arms. Nothing on Jamie's, of course. But he was cool.
And then I got Callum, Rick, and Luciano's autographs. Callum was really funny, refused to pronounce my name properly. Called me Niamph. lol. And then spelled it wrong though he had it in front of him, and fixed it being amused. He was almost as tired as I am, I think.
And Rick was fascinated by it, asking about how it was pronounced and talking about Siobhan (Shivaun) being similar. And I told him it meant 'brightness' and he said 'And that's exactly what you are.' Awww, so cheesy but sweet. He wrote 'I *heart* your lovely name.' He really is very nice.
And then Luciano, who was also really friendly and asked was I having a good time. :D

And I have to collapse soon, this is enough for now. So. Tired. Was up at 4.15 AM. Ugggghhhh. But day of win.
Oh! And Moff won the Hugo for Blink. SQUEE.
