Fuck that shit zach.
1) Find better jobs even though you love working at game stop it doesn't pay enough go were the money is, not whats fun.
2) Work/study even if you can't have the whole "college experience" you can still get a degree in the long run, even if you can only take two classes a semester.
3)Tell your parents thanks, but no thanks get your own place if you do go back.

also, i think if you did all the loans in your name you won't have to worry about your parents or their credit history. i'm not sure how this stuff works. yeah all the loans will be in your name, and you'll have to pay them back. but at least you'll go to school and get your degree. you can pay the loans back in really small amounts too when you get out of college, so you'll be able to afford it.

It sucks because Mom called me and started screaming at me about it, blaming me for the lack of a loan in your behalf. If you can, and I know that dad hates this idea, call Tech and see if you were to get a student loan if you can defer it until you graduate. If not, and you have to come back home, you're NOT going back to that house. You're the one who's kept me living in the worst situation possible, and as much as I hate it sometimes, I love you for making me realize that it's a million times better than living with the Wicked Witch of the West and Guito. So, here's the deal: if it so happens that you have to come home, live with me. I know you're thinking its gay living with your sister, but its a home away from home. I love you.
