Today was a busy day; shorter than normal as it was only an 8-4, rather than an 8-5. I coordinated my office's first ever Habitat for Humanity workday. Our office typically is involved in Relay for Life as you may have seen back in mid-May, but this was my brainchild from beginning to end. I have to say it was a great day. Oh that's wonderful! My firm did work days with other firms in the area and it was so much fun! 10 hours is quite a bit :)

It's kinda cool to think about actually. The firm did a big push in line with the 10 year anniversary of the most recent merger. So every employee (over 30k of them) gets 10 hours of community service hours (from office staff to audit and tax staff to partners and directors). So that's a hella alot of hours of community service and a difference that the firm can make. Very, very cool.
