SO I'd worked a few extra hours this week so I could have today to go pick raspberries and cherries for winter pie fillings. ANYWAY... I'm such a cheap ass. I want to stock up on stuff now so I don't have to pay the insanely high prices during the winter. You seriously can't beat:

Rasberries for $2/pint
Cherries for $1.45/lb
Strawberries for $0.90/lb

I've never had any fruit this fresh. Everything else is going to taste awful from now on :-/

i have the EXACT same reaction to snakes. i know it's completely irrational, but they make me have panic attacks.

It's awful. I seriously didn't feel right the rest of the day. Like somehow the snake had entered into my car, and I was going to notice it eventually. I also thought it'd magically pop out of my rasberries while getting ready to wash them. Gah. Just ruins a day. Irrational? Hell yes, but that's the way my mind works sometimes :-/
