Election Day 2008

Happy Election Day! I did my part and voted today. Arrived at my precinct at 2:51 PM, walked right in, no line. I voted the three items on the ballot - President, Senator, Representative - got my sticker, and walked out. Drove away at 2:56 PM. Bada bing - DONE!

Wow! Only three? We had like a hundred judges to go through... ugh

It's rare that our ballot is so light, but I was well pleased! Of course, we do not elect judges in Virginia...

Well, luckily, Barry is a lawyer/law school professor and I work in a law school. Plus, my office is in the Chicago Bar Association building and they put out voting guides for the judges. They only said no on five of them so it was sort of easy, but time consuming.

I would love to be able to vote on judges here, to get some of these incompetent jackasses off the bench.
