This is a mod of an earlier prompt.

The away team crashes or is taken captive. Jim is in excruciating pain due to illness/injury or torture and is trying to be stoic but finally breaks and Bones is there to try to comfort him. This all happens while the away team watches and is shocked and feels terrible, having never seen Jim suffering (or at least admitting weakness) this way. Protective, defending Jim's reputation!Bones.
