sorry for the late response... i'm hardly ever on this thing anymore. anyway here's my 2 cents. i'd advise against getting a doctorate degree to increase your chances of finding employment. in all probability it will narrow your scope of possibilities. option B would suck too bad and you would hate life, but the other 2 sound ok. except for the part about being homeless... no dental. just take a scattershot approach to applying for jobs. apply for a every job that seems even remotely interesting, especially all the really vague ones. in my experience those turn out to be the really good ones. and good luck. :)

Thanks for the insight! I'm sort of torn about getting a Ph.D. A couple professors of mine are urging me to get one, as I really love the field i'm in (I/O Psychology). But, i'm not sure if they can relate to my situation. Its extremely difficult to get a job at the Master's level, or at least right now it is. I heard in the past, before 9/11, jobs were everywhere. Unfortunately, I/O jobs are one of the first to go in companies.

I'd prefer just to work right now, as getting a Ph.D would entail me going to school until i'm in my 30's. That would suck being a broke college student until that age!
