Polls open in 44 hours. Polls close in 57 hours. We have a 21% point lead in this morning's Boston Globe poll. There is no rest. There is no letting up. We will blow that lead out of the water. So Monday I come into work intending to make sure that I can take Saturday off. There's a fairly major event going on, but I have friends camping on the Cape this weekend. Now, my supervisor doesn't know this, but the first thing she says to me after "good morning" is "You'll be here for Saturday, right?" in that tone that makes it VERY clear ( Read more... )

I just found out I passed the Foreign Service Written Exam for the second time in a row. Now comes the hard part, the Oral Assessment. Wish me luck.
