If you can only fit one in, GO TOKYO DISNEYSEA rather than Disneyland! The day I went it was pouring with rain and packed because of school holidays! :I
Also, GHIBLI is awesome and it is going to make you squee! HAVE FUN!
yeah i've heard a few people say that DisneySea is better. why is that?? i think we would prefer Disneyland cause i mean, it's the original right? Tim and i have both been (him 10 years ago, me 20 years ago!) so i kinda want to see how it compares to my memories.
i have to fax my Ghibli ticket form today, ohhh i hope we get tickets.
totally jealous!! your itinerary sounds jam-packed with adventure.
i don't know how much you are into video games, but maybe you might want to check them out because they are so impressive! they have really neat/weird games and if anything, take away a hi-tech photobooth picture :D
when i went (7 years ago), it was hard to find our way when we got lost because pretty much no one could speak english, so be prepared, be resourceful, and don't get frustrated. i hope you have a good sense of direction.
a friend of mine said similar things to you - she said it's hard to find things because most of the signs are not in English and there's so many multistory buildings which you have no idea what's on the upper floors!
i have a terrible sense of direction, but husband is pretty fantastic. i'm studying our Lonely Planet books like crazy, but i'm still expecting Tokyo to be insane and difficult.
