Sunday January 10th:
Plane ride numero uno: Leaving from BWI 6:50 in the morning to arrive in Memphis Tenesee at 8:00 am. We actually had to walk ON THE TARMAC TO OUR PLANE. That's how small the plane was. It was the sketchiest plane I've ever seen in my life. There were only four seats in the rows. There were TINY lugagge containers and oh yeah there was no heating or cooling system so our plane's temperature revolved around the temperature it was outside. So when we left 6:50 am from MD it was about twenty degrees if that. When we arrived in Tenesee the plane was the fucking temperature of the sun! It was crazy.
Plane ride dos: Leaving from Memphis 9:20 am to arrive in LA at 11:42 am. This plane was normal so to us it was like going from a shitty motel to the Ritz lol.
Shannon's sister Gen and brother (john) picked us up at the airport. It was weird to meet him for the first time. I suppose it would be like meeting one of you guys. Kinda awkward at first. =P He's cuter in person though. So that was a plus. I met Shannon's Mom and dad and we all went out to lunch. I think they liked me. =] Her family is fun to be around!
One of her bestfriends (Elan) came over and it was cool to get to meet her. I had heard a lot about her. She is pretty awesome. =] Very welcoming. We (Me, John and Elan) played Soul Caliber. I kicked both their asses a couple times which is an accomplishment since I had never played xbox before. But they demolished me several times too. =P Some time passed and Elan's boyfriend (Trevor) came over too. He's pretty awesome. We (Me, Shannon, John, Elan, trevor and Gen) went to Venice beach to go to a bond fire. Now when I think "bond fire" I think huge circle made of flames around a group of people dancing their asses off. NOT the case. lol. We got there and it was pretty cool. We danced for a little bit. It was pretty much a bunch of people with instruments and a couple people dancing around them. Then the cops showed up and made us leave. (Most of the people left cause they were high as fuck, we just left cause the party died).
Monday January 11th:
Elan stayed the night sunday night so the four of us girls went to this huge flea market type thing to go shopping. We found a few cool things. Then we went to Hollywood where the streets are not paved with gold (if you've ever seen the disney movie "cats don't dance" you'll get the reference). Went to a couple stores there that Shannon wanted to go to. There's this one called "Necromance" which is pretty cool. It's got a lot of weird shit that i appreciated but it also has a lot of dead things. They just make me feel like their remains are being desecrated. I dunno I'm just wierd like that. So that was not my favorite part at all lol.
I nerded out with John a bit which was fun cause I hadn't had a chance to before. I actually ended up going into his room at like three in the morning cause Gen has these birds that squak all the fucking time and it's like a piercing sound. I couldn't go back to sleep in that room. So I pushed him over in his bed and told him to let me sleep there lol. It was cool.
Tuesday January 12th:
Shannon got her driving permit, go shannon! =] Shannon, John, Gen and I went to see the movie "day breakers." new vampire movie which was actually pretty good up until the ending. The ending was terrible which was dissappointing. It had a pretty good plot though, interesting new turn on vampires. That's pretty much all that happened that day. (We couldn't even remember what happened two days later lol).
Wednesday January 13th:
Now this is when the week started to get a little hectic cause we wanted to do EVERYTHING and we were running out of time. We started the day by going to the most fantastic thrift store in the world. We being Shannon, me, Gen and John. The mistake was bringing John cause 1 he's a guy and 2 he has a bad back so he was complaining like the entire time! So we had to leave the store early. We got a few cool things though.
Next stop was a family party at Shannon's aunt's house. It was pretty cool. LOTS of socializing. So it was very tiring. But i got to meet Shannon's cousin who is SUPER hot. But he was kinda lame he doesn't take weird pictures or anything. We stayed there for like the entire fucking day lol. Eventually I ended up calling my friend Kiana cause Shannon was on the phone with creepazoid and I had no one to talk to. But it was nice to talk to Kiana she's always entertaining =]
Shannon, Gen and I went to see "The Phenomenal Handclap Band" which was fucking INCREDIBLE! I'm like obsessed now. You guys should check them out. They are this hippy band that literally looks like they stepped right out of the sixties. Their guitarist and I were having eye sex the whole time. Beleieve what you want but I swear it. =] He was so sexy and looked like he was having so much fun on stage! He's a redhead too. You guys should know how I feel about redheads RAWR ;) Plus the fact he plays guitar like non other.
Thursday January 14th:
Shannon, Gen, Elan and I went to Knoxberry farm which to my dismay is not really a farm. =[ It's an amusement park. A rather sketchy one at that. Kinda like a disneyland ripoff. But we had free tickets so what are you gonna do? We did like every good ride in the park within the first half hour. They were all really fucking spinny. Gen got sick and the rest of us, at least me, were feeling it too. So we went and got some food.
Met this guy named "Sean" at the McDonalds. He was trying to get to LA but didn't have any money for the bus. I gave him money. I'm nice like that. Plus he was pretty easy on the eyes and he had a british accent. Come on now would you say no? lol. By the way, Shannon's dude's name is Sean. Coincidence? I think not!
I was still pretty dead from the park so Shannon went to hang out with her friend Neil and I went to sleep at her house. I felt really bad cause I had told John to come wake me up and we could hang but I felt fucking horrible. So I bailed. I slept for like thirteen hours straight.
Friday January 15th:
We girls were still feeling the shopping bug so we kidnapped Shannon's mom and went back to the thrift store. We spent like four hours there lol. Went out to dinner with the fam. then everybody came over and we got ready to go to "Das Bunker." It's the best Goth club in the US. At least that it what Shannon told me before we went.
There were two cars full of us. In our car: Shannon, Me, Gen, gen's friend Gema, their cousin (Anna) and Shannon's friend Hailey. The other car was: John, his friend Vince and Vince's girlfriend. Also in our car we had two bottles of champaigne which all of us in the backseat (Anna, Me, Shannon and Hailey) fucking crushed. That was an intense ride lol. It was ALOT of fun.
We got to the club and started dancing right away. At first it was our whole group dancing then Shannon and Anna went off to dance on poles (I was definitely not drunk enough for that). So there were four of us and John showed up so the five of us danced for awhile then gen and gema dissappeared at some point so there were three. Then suddenyl hailey was gone too so it was just me and John. That was fun too. But i started getting kinda dizzy so I went off looking for the other girls. Turns out they were taking shots in the bathroom. I had half of Hailey's shot of vodka and then this adorable little crazy woman came out of nowhere and asked us if we wanted our picture taken. So she took like eighty pictures of all of us. It was intense lol. =]
Somehow John and i ended up alone together again so we danced for a long time. Then he sat down cause he back hurt and I grabbed a random guy and told him to dance with me. I don't do that. That's not me lol. It was a lot of fun though =] John said we danced for awhile. We got food afterwards and by the time we got back we were all dead.
Saturday january 16th:
This was an extremely chill day we just hung out with the fam all day since it was our last day there. I watched the football game with John and their dad. Shannon hung with her cousin and sister. It was a lot of fun. Eventually everyone left and me, Shannon and Anna took a walk around the neighborhood that was cool.
Then everybody went bowling cept me and Shannon. We stayed with her parents and had a coloring night. It was fun and nice and chill. =]
The only interesting part about the trip back was that 1)We thought we were gonna die cause our plane was rocking so much 2) our lugagge took like a HOUR. Other than that it's good to be home.
OH! And my dad gave away my dog while I was gone. =[
And the reason i didn't write yesterday was because I got letters from all of my penpals for the first time and I wanted to respond asap. They're in prison so they're very lonely. I'll tell you about them tomorrow. =]
