I thought the whole two-parter was super lame. The homo-reptilians were totally one dimensional and the plot bored me to tears until the end which just plain came out of nowhere and seemed excessively dark.

I thought it was okay but they do do it quite a lot. They have a problem with repeating the same story lines.
I still don't think I like what Moppet is doing to the Doctor. I feel as tho some of the stupid mistakes he makes nine and ten wouldn't have made. And WHY couldn't they just pick up Rory's body and take it into the Tardis? And WHY did they need to kill him in the first place?! Why was that necessary? They hardly ever kill main characters on this show why do they feel the need to start with Rory?! >.<
P.s. my icon is nine when he hears about the stupid things eleven is doing!!

See, I just felt like there hasn't been enough character development to justify killing him. There wasn't enough emotion in the episode for that ending. It didn't match up. I don't really have an issue with killing main characters, but it needs to be done well. And to me that was just totally random. I had a very mild emotional response. Rory is super bland, but honestly so are Amy and the Doctor. I feel like they're wandering around but they're not really doing anything. It's DULL

I get what you're saying. I really liked Rory honestly. He reminded me of Mickey back in first season and I love Mickey. But I do get what you're saying with there not being enough emotional build up for it to really matter. I like Amy too. She's no Donna/Rose/Martha but it's still semi-early. Eleven however I am not liking so much. He makes stupid mistakes and judgements that I feel Nine and Ten would not have made. That bothers me a lot. It's like he forgot HOW to be the doctor and I don't understand why.
But it's not the character it's the build up. The only reason it was so upsetting when they were seperated was because we had a ton of tension/build up before hand. If they were seperated halfway through season 1 it wouldn't have been nearly as upsetting.
I do agree with you about the lack of chemistry. It seems like any chemistry that is there is completely forced. =[ I agree about the dissappointment. But at least that means next season will be better.
