Times are interesting right now.  There's a certain peace of mind in knowing that I can watch the tomfoolery of the US elections unravel from safely outside of its borders - but yet participate in the excitement with my absentee ballot

I was SO HAPPY to be in China where i don't have to listen to an iota of political bullshit (obviously that is not a completely a good thing, but its refreshing for a pissed off american like me!) and now we're back in time for elections and it is balls! The TV ads are completely out of control.

I have no faith that the american people will get better until we overhaul our school system and give our citizens critical thinking & questioning skills, along with more knowledge about the world and society and everything else. Siiiiiiiiiiigh. I hope it happens in my lifetime...
