Do you have to deal with fire safe cigarettes? I've been noticing over the past few months that my smokes would occasionally just die on me if I hasn't taken a drag for a bit, and now I found out why. It seems that cigs in Texas and a lot of other states now have to use this new paper that will burn out if left unattended for a period of time. ( Read more... )

I noticed this off and on, though I've no idea if NJ has any sort of requirements in place regulating such a thing, or if Marlboro just sends their cigarettes to us this way on their own.

Either way, I don't smoke indoors, so I don't have a need for it, but I usually smoke fast enough that it doesn't become much of a concern.

Ironically, Portland just passed the "no smoking in public places" law January 1st, just in case you didn't get enough rednecks/scene kids loitering all over the goddamn place. :)
