I'm still drawn to different aspects of paganism and buddhism... so it was neat to discover this site. This statement specifically thrills me: Seonaidh believes that these energies are actually based on or emanate tremendous compassion which has become overlaid with habitual clingings and fixations. It makes me wonder if the European dieties could serve in the same way that the Tibetan (now-converted-to-Buddhism) dieties serve... I would really like to be able to work with the Germanic/Norse dieties this way. Unfortunately, mose pagans would consider that heresy, I imagine.
