stars

driving miles and miles into the desert, laying on the hood of the car, staring at the stars. finding a chair on the side of the road and sitting in it, leaning back and amazed at the milky way. it has been years since i spent more than 5 minutes really looking at the stars and i feel more at peace than i have in a long long time.
