According to drugs.com, Benadryl Cold was a mix of acetaminophen, diphenhydramine, and pseudoephedrine. I can't find the old formulation, but the newer one has 325mg acetaminophen, 12.5mg diphenhydramine and 5mg phenylephrine HCl. My guess would be they didn't change the first two ingredients, just replaced pseudoephedrine with phenylphedrine in the formulation.
