New to the community and would like to share my story

I just lost my belived MazzyStar on December 11. She was only 3 years old and was a staffordshire bull terrier/dachshund mix. My husband ans I made a stupid mistake and I don't think I'll ever forgive myself. What happened was we had all 5 of our dogs playing in the back yard. I'm so sorry for your loss.
I hope you are feeling better now.
It wasn't your fault, and putting down the other dog was the right thing to do although I'm sure that doesn't help make it feel any better. Your husband and you gave both pups a good home and lots of love, and I'm sure they both knew and felt that love.

Thank you. I am feeling a little better now. It took me awhile to even get back online and read the posts on here. I don't think I can ever feel right about putting the other dog down but I keep thinking it could have been worse. We have an old dog and 2 beagles too so it could have easily been one of them as well.
