Fleetwood will always be with you. And if he (...or she...) was suffering, then you DID save him. Small comfort I know, but it did help me through initially when I lost my Gizmo last year. I know just how hard it is to say goodbye, even when you know there is no other choice. I'm sure you did what was best for Fleetwood. He lives on in your heart and memories.
