Ya know, i wanted to like Kerry.... i really did. Seriously. But... his entire campaign was based on one argument "I'm not Bush."

I don't vote AGAINST someone... i vote FOR someone. Kerry would have lost my vote as soon as he started touting himself as "Not Bush".

Tell me why you're John Kerry... don't tell me why you're "Not George W."

I have a sick feeling W may be it, but... not because he's 3.5 million votes up. Right now it's about 100,000 votes different in Ohio -- where the vote matters. That's how the electoral college works.

I also don't really think you did listen to Kerry's campaign. He wrote a whole book about it to pass out of voters telling their plan and the changes they want to make to make our country better. And not every sentence is, "I'm not Bush."

I'm very aware of how the electoral college works, thanks.

As for his book, i put as much stock into that (yeah, i read it) as i do F 9/11 by that douche Michael Moore.

My response wasn't meant to be snarky, I'm sorry if you took it that way. I wouldn't have called the election in favor of Kerry if he were 3.5 million popular votes up if the race in the 1 state with enough votes to decide a winner was 100,000 apart.

See... you might not have. But the media would have. If roles were reversed right now, and Kerry was up, 1 electoral vote from winning, the media (basically, the alphabet networks, ABC, CBS, and NBC) would have declared him the winner.
