Around 15 years ago, I did some work for a few years as a presenter on a Hospital radio station for kids. This was something I really enjoyed, but had to eventually give up because of work commitments and because things within the organization got way too political for my liking. You have a great voice for radio, so I'm glad you're getting back into broadcasting!
That's a shame about Radio NAG. I volunteered as a broadcaster for about a year, presenting a news and music programme. It was a lot of fun, and I think we were well-received by the locals.
If you ever did decide to give it a go, the bus fare is free if you have a QLD travel pass, and there's a bus stop about a block from where the radio station is, or was, when I lived in Yeppoon.
