At my tutoring session over the weekend, I showed one of the kids (a grade 6 student) my pocket PC for keeping my dates straight. I was demonstrating how it could recognize my stylish stylus writing: Maaath ... iiiis ... fuuuun.
Math is fun.He thought that was "wicked", so I let him try it out. He scribbled a little bit, and it said:

heh, yeah. I said it takes some getting used to before it picks up your handwriting properly but I think he was nonetheless quite impressxored.

It was really something too because I had just finished telling his dad that although he was quick to pick things up, it didn't stick between sessions and the dad angrily told the kid to study hard. And he still thought I rocked! Yay!
