e) Just give $1.30 back.
f) Just give the coffee for free because calculating change is too hard.

c) It doesn't matter how many tickets they buy; they won't win and they'll remain stuck here, only they'll be slightly poorer than me.

hahaha :) better yet, have the choices for 1) be:
a) Minus $10 by $1.30
b) Minus $1.30 by $10
c) Minus $1.30 from $10
d) SUBTRACT $1.30 FROM $10
e) subtract $10 from $1.30
f) subtract $3 by $7

and then you can test both math and english at the same time...(what more could you ask for?)

haha, subtract $3 by $7. It is clearly the best answer. Testing both math AND english -- it is the best of both worlds!!
