I don't know how helpful I can be, but I guess one thing I'd say is that sometimes jobs you think might be crappy turn out to be nicer than expected-like Ryan really didn't want a job at the photo shop, he wanted more of a "real" photography job, but now that he's working there he told me he really loves it even though he didn't think he would. (And I don't think I've ever heard Ryan say he "loves" a job before!) Although I know it helps that it's at least related to a passion of his, even if it's not an actual doing-art job
