Nov 19, 2008 22:51

Hey, everybody!

As promised, I finally got around to taking some "progress" pictures, so that I can keep track of how I'm doing with my new eating/exercise regimen. I tried to make them as cute as possible, but you've been warned: HIPS. My feet are shrinking, yet my earth-mother hips are staying put. Feh.

(But also, yay! My pants are getting ( Read more... )

You look great!!! That wrap dress is fabulous.

You're inspiring to me, too. I have quite a bit of extra poundage to lose now that I've had the baby --> I want to be healthy and active for HER sake!

Aw, you're so sweet! I saw your recent pics and you're beautiful, but I can see wanting to be your best for that sweet baby. :)

(Speaking of said adorable bb, how old is she now? And do I have your latest address? I am hoping to FINALLY get your package out sometime this next week. Yay!)

And if you ever want a regimen buddy, I'm here for ya. We can do it together!

Your feet are shrinking? Damn, the first thing to go on me was my tits.

:D You look fab though, but I never think any different.

It's the craziest thing...when I lost that 65 lbs. before, I didn't lose a bit in the cups, but a ton around my band size. The same thing's happening here--I'm still a DDD, but I'm already on the middle band notch on the new (smaller!) ones I just bought. Damn indeed.

The feet shrinking is crazy, though. And kind of a bummer since I just recently bought some cute new shoes that are now really annoying to wear.

(Aww! So do YOU. Whenever I see pics of you now, you look so different, but you've always been pretty as far as I was concerned. Now you're just smaller-pretty. )

Say what?

Well then what do you crazy Canadians call 'em?

Well it's not so much a Canadian thing as it more of a provincial Saskatchewanian thing as the rest of Canada calls them hoodies.

But they are all wrong. We call them (and I'm totally serious) "bunny hugs".

I know you'll love that term so much you'll start using it

Oh my gosh...I *love* this. Bunny hugs!

That is seriously about the cutest thing ever. :)

I just heard a piece about belly fat. It is way more biologically active than the other fat on our bodies, so it's the first to come and the first to go. Weird, huh? That's why we get more waist room first!

You know, I'm glad you mentioned shoes--I have been a 9 for years, but since losing the 15 pounds of so since April, I am an 8-1/2. I had no idea feet shrunk!

Wow, that's pretty interesting. I had no idea! The fat around my waistline and bra-line has been all "I'm OUTTA here", but the belly and hips are still sticking around. Get active, fat!

The shoe thing is SO crazy. I've always had really big, wide feet (thanks, Dad), and I've lost weight before without any changes there. This time around, though, my shoes are loose all around--both in length and width. Is it more fun for you being an 8-1/2? More options and stuff? I have no concept of a foot size that wonderful. ;)

I think my favorite thing so far out of all this is that the weight loss has finally (almost completely!) decreased the swelling in my ankles and the top of my feet, which has been pretty ugly for a while now. I can wear a dress now if I want to without feeling like a big, puffy monster and it's pretty cool. :)

I've had the opposite problem with shoes now that I've gained a lot of weight in the past 2 years. I'm no longer a 10...i'm an 11, and shoes that I used to wear all the time no longer fit. It sucks.

I'm REALLY hoping that when I lose this weight, that those shoes fit again.
