Yeah. Even though we had some of the same interests, they don't give a good sense of how someone ljs, what they write about, or whether their personality will mesh with yours. Sometimes it works. This time it didn't. Meh. *shrug*

”Always a good idea.” Regarding friends cuts? My first impulse was to disagree, but that’s just from my experiences being the person cut with messages in the vein of UR BORING - KWIT SPAMMIN MY FRIENDS PAGE while there was mutual stroking among those remaining in the vein of:
Comment: OMG you didn’t cut me. Squee! Comment back: Of course not. You’re made of AWESOME!
Which makes it sound like whether you’re cut or kept is a reflection on internal characteristics - you as a person or what you write - instead of just being a mismatch between one person and another. A problem that exists outside the space of either person.
Sometimes cuts are needed, like you said. I just hate how some people do them. Or some possible reasons for why they’re done.
Do people really collect a bazillion friends on MySpace or LJ just to make it seem like they’re super-popular or is it just indiscriminate adding? And if the former is the case, could you do the opposite? What I mean is, for no reason besides your ego, instead of inflating your flist,

Before I read this message I went to my profile and saw that ravenzara friended me and went over to their lj to find out, in the words of Dr. Reed hearing the new message sound for his email, "What does this dipshit want?" And I thought it was the fucking weirdest thing that this person friended just the both of us and then said to find them at dairyland!

Sure, if you'd like to resurrect it. I feel I should warn you though. You have gathered that RL for me = school, right? All other knowledge of the world I lack. Plan on asking anyone else on your flist if they'd like to get to know the oh so angsty existance of the girl behind the perv? :-P
