Driving down the back roads of suburban Maryland is very different from trailblazing down the vast frontier of the Colorado Rockies. When I leave my middle class cul-de-sac to head to class in my blue ’95 Ford Taurus, I never feel like I’m out on a great migration down the Oregon Trail. Yet this seems to be the case for many American drivers.

Does the American consumerr really need most of the crap that the American consumer buys? Fuck no. We're all really guilty of this, whether it be SUV's, video games, the latest goddamn diet fad, or whatever. It's just who we are, neo-capatilist brainwashed suckers.
