crazy, messy, roommate(s)

I think I just need to vent a little in order to make myself feel better. I usually don't like confrontation, so writing down my feelings usually helps.

I have a roommate who is extremely messy and doesn't seem to care that anyone else is living with her. Her boyfriend practically lives here but doesn't pay rent, and he dominates our living room. He sits on the couch all day either watching our TV or doing stuff on his computer. Basically, I can't ever watch anything down there because he's watching something or I'll disturb him. He leaves his dirty clothes all over the place downstairs too. He also doesn't wash his hands after using the potty, so I constantly have to disinfect anything he touches. My roommate does costume designing, mostly for anime, but she seems to think it's okay to have her sewing machine and stuff all over the kitchen table at all times. The rest of us can no longer eat anywhere downstairs since there is her stuff on the kitchen table and her boyfriends stuff all over the coffee table and everywhere else. The leave dishes and cooking stuff on the counters in the kitchen too, and they never wash their dishes.

Another pet peeve of mine is that they never refill the ice trays. I like a lot of ice in my drinks, so when they started using the ice I bought a new tray. Now, they use both and never refill them. They also drink the water that me and my other roommate buy. They eat our bread that we buy and he drinks my soda. Basically, they use all of my stuff and eat my food without thinking twice about it.

The thing that is bothering me right now is the thing that pushed me to actually write this all down. I leave my shoes downstairs by the door, so that dirt does not get tracked in. They're gone! There is no one else home this weekend except for me and them, so I have no idea why they would just assume that it was okay to wear my shoes. I don't like having problems, and I usually just get along with everyone. I think I'm going to tell them when they get home that taking my shoes is not okay.
