An over-powered spell by Willow accidentally sends Buffy back to 1974, where she meets a strangely familiar 17-year-old. Young Ripper Giles wants to send her back; Buffy doesn't want to go. But then their differences must be set aside to help Giles Senior and the active Slayer of 1974, who are in a lot of trouble.

The "Unprecedented" 'verse Cruciamentum story. Wesley attempts to save his relationship with Faith at the probable cost of his career, Giles attempts to save everybody's hides wrt the Council, and (like in canon) Quentin Travers is a prat.
