I've been living is Salem for a couple of years now, working in the National Park. It's been very quiet here. At first it took me to get used to the not-so-craziness of Salem, eventually I did. Monitoring the park day to day. Nothing big this week. No demon activity or even off season hunters. This job is defiantly the job for me because I have ( Read more... )

It was a slow day...well, slow-er day than usual. Ok, here in Salem, not much of the stuff to do, unless you are a fan of that horrible witch trial history. So not good for me, I stay far away from anything that even remotely had to do with the trials. I think it's better for me that way.

I mean, I really like Salem, living here isn't so bad. Definately a change of pace compared to Sunnydale, though it can be quite boring at times, but hey, if being bored doesn't kill me, then I say yay to that.

Anyway, today since it's slower than usual, I decided that aside from restocking, I need to reorganize and move everything around. I did research on how if certain books are in certain arrangements, they will sell more.

Though, note to self, arms full of books equals bad. That was when I felt the tap on the shoulder. "Excuse Me."

I started to turn around. "Yes, how may I..." My eyes went wide at the sight in front of me and all the books in my arms fell to the floor. "O-Oz?"

"O-Oz?"

What is she doing here? I'm really confused. I'm in shock. Trying to get my jaw closed I examine her. She looks really good. She looks better than before. Getting back to the wow, what is she doing here?

"Wow, long time no see, eh?" I half-smile and look slightly confused. "What are you doing here?"

I am really curious to know. I mean, I don't know. I'm just still really confused right now.

I just stood there, frozen, probably looking as shocked as he was. Out of all the places in the world, how did we manage to bump into each other. Here, of all places. I opened my mouth to speak, and closed it, taking a deep breath. "I-I work here... I mean, I live here in Salem for a while now..."

Unable to hold back much longer I just threw my arms around him, hugging him tightly. Ok, so probably not the best thing to do, but I haven't seen Oz since the whole incident back in college and the badness.

I hugged him tightly for quite a while before pulling back, still in awe at the whole thing. "What are you doing here? I though you'd be in Tibet or...or something."

Willow hugs were always my favorite. One could not live life without a Willow hug.

"What are you doing here? I though you'd be in Tibet or...or something."

I smirk, "Tibet? Nah. I live on the outskirts of town and I work at the National Park. When do you get off work? Maybe we could catch up on things?"

That could have been too bold but maybe she's interested. I don't want to remember the last time we did the talk thing. Everything has been a little bit better since then, for me at least. I really wonder how she is.
