Definitely, the poor guy spent forty years in hell and then got to crawl out of his own grave, without even having superpowers to help him out in doing so...
But at least he got an angel out of the deal, so that's something right?
Nice. I can totally imagine a one-night stand between Buffy and Dean like that. And great conversation between them at the end - you highlighed to well the differences between the SPN-verse and the Buffyverse and their interactions with the supernatural world. And yay for including Faith and for her and Buffy having a decent relationship. Loved it!!
In the end, the Buffyverse just seems to hold a lot more hope than the spn verse, and it was a chance to have Buffy realize how much hope she did have.
I love this. The way you blurred the lines between the two very distinct mythologies. The contrast between Buffy's life--which, even at its darkest, had hope--and the Winchester's world, where everything really is black and white. There's nothing I love more than a good crossover, and this is nicely done.
