Am I the only person who thought that Veruca was bizarre and repulsive? Oz deserved to be made into a rug for cheating on Willow with that creature!

*laughs* I think you're hardly the only person, and I didn't find her personally attractive at all, but it wasn't about that, about who she was or what she looked like. It was about the wolf, wolves. Nature and instinct, animal and primal over the human side.

I guess the way I see it, if you can't blame the wolf for attacking or for even killing, then does cheating actually apply or is that just the human interpretation of what can't be explained any other way?

Still...sorry. She's just so vile. Even wolves have standards, c'mon. (Yes, I do see your point, I'm just obstinate and opinionated)

*laughs* Lucky me that obstinate and opinionated are two of my favorite traits. *smooches* It was a sad tale, but in the end, Oz had no more control over himself in the wolf-state as Angel does as Angelus, or Willow when she lost control.

See, I didn't find Veruca hot at all? I thought she was just... ew. Skanky.

Yeah, I think most agree - I just never thought Veruca was the point, or what she looked like, it was the wolf. Primal instinct over the human condition, not who she was, but what.

Oh I agree. I think that what was so powerful about Veruca was just that, her wolf. Oz wasn't the type to stray, so no 'pretty face' was going to do it. It had to be something deeper. And Joss wrote it very well in that regard. It wasn't her face or even her strong musical presence, it was the wolf, the pull of both wolves together.

Still, I don't like her. She hurt Willow. ;)
