prillalar was just mentioning the paradox thing to me this morning! I had totally failed to remember that.
Moffat does seem to be changing a number of things that Russell Davies set up as canon, what with "time can be rewritten" and all. But you'd think there would have been a mention.
I feel like Eleven has yet to have much dramatic, personal development. With Nine we had him fresh off the Time Wars with survivor guilt and prickliness and all. With Ten we had, well, lots of emo. (: Loss of Rose, his whole Handlebars arc, lots of Lonely God/Oncoming Storm stuff. Eleven hasn't really had anything that deeply personal or huge happen to him yet. And I feel Moffat's keeping the show more child-friendly than Davies did. I don't mind it, myself; I love Eleven and I am happy with the show's tone. But I would like to see Eleven grow and change a bit more than he has done so far.
Yeah, I know Moffat changes stuff, but I'd still hope something as "big" with the mythology would at least be acknowledged somehow. oh well ;)
Waiting to see where Eleven goes with character development no matter what, he's been very linear so far, which, has its fun, but I'd like to see more indeed. :)
